Job summary

The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for creating demand for Slope’s products through effective positioning, messaging, and marketing programs across all personas working with the Director, Customer Lifecycle Marketing. This role is also responsible for conducting thorough competitive and market analysis. The Product Marketing Manager will work closely with Marketing, Sales, Product, and Clinical Operations to ensure consistency across the organization. To be successful as a product marketing manager, you must have excellent time management skills.

Responsibilities
  • Have a solid understanding of the product, personas and competitive landscape to advise product positioning and campaigns
  • Assist in building awareness of the product through blogs and social media
  • Develops and executes an 8-week marketing cycle in conjunction with Slope product releases
  • Builds and orchestrates go-to-market strategies for new product launches/features
  • Partners closely with Product to tie product features to customer benefits and needs for marketing campaigns
  • Develops product collateral including data sheets, case studies, infographics, competitive positioning pieces, and helps the sales team as needed with sales decks, messaging, etc.
  • Works closely with the Director of Customer Lifecycle Marketing to create persona-based BOFU nurture campaigns and account-based marketing campaigns around targeted accounts
  • Partners with Sales to develop product collateral to accelerate pipeline velocity
  • Work collaboratively with Sales, Marketing, Product and Clinical Operations to ensure product marketing is aligned with both customer expectations and customer experience with the product
  • Other duties as assigned
Experience & requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, communications, business, or related field (MBA in marketing or related business degree a plus, but not required)
  • 4-6 years of hands-on B2B product marketing in the SaaS industry (experience in clinical research or life sciences a plus but not required)
  • Strong project management, organizational and communication skills
